like i said, i really doubt that cam only setup will net you 430. unless you have heads or a 90/90 setup.

no i 100% understand what your saying and i'm definatly not saying your lying or wrong... But Thunder Racing has posted on their website a dyno of a cam alittle smaller then the one i listed and the dyno listed the cam at 410RWHP and 389RWTQ with all bolt ons EXCEPT heads and 4.30s. I also have all the bolt ons except the 4.30s i'll have 4.10s put in with the cam.. I know the 4.30 will make a little difference in the dyno results but then again the dyno test TR has is for a smaller cam then the one i want so that why i assumed i would net around 420-430... Also called TT Performance and told them about the cam i wanted and they said with their tune and all my bolt ons (no heads) that they could get me 430... I hope their right and there not all lying to me!!!

Well i'm probably going to order the cam today, and i think i'm going to stick with the TR cam unless someone can pursuade me that another cam would make better power.... As far as i'm concerned, i just want the cam to make me over 400RWHP and i'll be satisfyed... So lets hope i picked the right one!!!

i got the TR 230/236 590/598 112 and cam only made 397 rwhp. i was satisfied with that for a cam only car. i just recently got GTP stage 2+ heads. still need to get it on the dyno. hoping it's somewhere around 440

all the cams you have listed are good cams. don't be disappointed in your dyno numbers, remember all LS1's are different. Some stock ones I have seen dyno went in the 290-310 range, then of course you get you "freaks" who will dyno 320+ on a stock car. If you want to acheive 430+ to the wheels, you better get some heads to go along w/ your cam. Companies that show you cam results will not show you the typical results, they show you the absolute best results which are not typical. It is a way to sell their products, nobody would buy them if they just showed the common results. expect to make anywhere from 375-400 rwhp and 365-385 rwtq. Those numbers are a pretty common occurance. If you want 430 to the wheels cam car, get a 50-75 shot of juice, that would most definatly put you at or above what you want.

I agree with you and am not expecting exorbitant amounts of RWHP but i did call TR and question them about the car having all bolt ons except heads and asked what it would dyno with a dyno tune... And the rep SWORE that the cam by it's self would produce 420-430RWHP.... Now i dont know if i posted this but i decided on a cam and it is a Custom Grind TR 231/237 .595/.602 112LSA so maybe this cam will give me that HP i dunno but this is what TR claims...??

my cam specs are really close to that, mine is a TSP cam, but I am not expecting 400 to the wheels, 390 and I will be happy. We have 2 other guys in our local club w/ the same cam as mine and they were colse to 400 cam only.

    mine is 231/237 598/595 112 lsa.
