    do i need to degree my cam

    i have a 1998 trans am with long tube with 3 in true duels out the back i have a custom grand cam from comp cams 228 /228 lift588 588 lsa 112 with a +2 adv. and shoud i keep my stock rockers or can i go to a 1.75 with would give me a 605 lift with this cam

    what lobe did u use? if u used a xer lobe then u can not use more aggressive rockers...

    Any cam should be properly degree'd.

    well i would have no problem putting the cam in but i just dont know how to degree it i have never done one before

    ok thanks for the info if i can find somebody to do it while i am putting it in i will do it but if not then i wont hope this cam makes good HP
