If you have 28lb injectors, then it depends... my camaro with does around 400rwhp/tq and is at 100% duty cycle @ 6000 rpms w/ 28lb injectors.

i would/ did. i went with the svo 42# injectors. Once you get your IFR's correct, you shouldnt be using that much injector. You will also have a cushion for future mods. If your continuously maxing out your injectors, they are prone to fail or loose some of their integrity.

I would go ahead and put some 42s in. You know you are going to do more mods. Room to grow. Once you get the injector pulse worked out it is all gravey. That cam is mild enough that you shouldn't have to worry about a tune right now, but it would benefit you to get the most out of what you are running.

What fuel pressure? What afr? What duty cycle? Its entirely possible to support over 400rwhp with 26lb injectors, with a leaner target afr (13.0+) and a very high duty cycle.

I wouldn't make a statement like that to someone who doesn't want to run over 13.0afr and wants to keep duty cycle around 85% (recommended by virtually everyone).

I highly doubt your cars are making 400+ rwhp with stock fuel rail pressure and 85% or less duty cycle.

well, i can't verify the duty cycle, but i can verify i'm over 400 rwhp. both with entirely stock fuel systems.

I love being called out dont you
I put down over 500 RWHP and 600 RWTQ on stock injectors/fuel rails/fuel pump w/ Kenne Bell BaP.... untill a rod bolt let loose....FP was rock solid at 62lbs and AF was in the 11's throughout the rpm range....this with a wet shot @100HP....H/C and other goodies of course...

If being accurate means being a butthead I'll take being a butthead 24X7.
