daily driver cam/heads

sorry for another post about heads but, I have a 2000 t/a M6 and I am looking to port the heads and add a cam.

My question is how should I go about this? Im looking at the torqer v2 or the tsp 228r.

I drive this car everyday and its my only car. I like the sound of a lopey cam but dont want any issues that usually come with that. would a 113 LSA be good? and should I have the heads milled?

i would mill heads and 113 ls is fine. I would keep your cam 234 (something like that) or less. If you go bigger it will have more lope but take away the daily driver factor. You want more power down low not like a big cam all up high. I went with Trickflow heads (milled to 60cc)and a custom cam of 232/227 with 111 ls. Car drives great and is my daily driver.

Best advise would be to pick a cam company you trust and call their tech line. Thats the best way to get advise like this

ive got the torquer 2 and i absolutely love the cam...running cam only no heads, ls6 intake, stock stall and one hell of a tune.

thanks z28boy im gonna get my headers installed and my ls6 intake first and then by next summer i hope to have the funds in order to get my heads ported and milled and to install the cam
