couple questions about a FAST
I am going to be putting a FAST 92mm intake on my car soon. I have a 85mm throttle body on my ls6 intake now. Would i be able to put the 85 on the FAST until i get the 92? also i just had the car dyno tuned for a cam i put in. Would putting the intake on require a new tune or would i be ok with the same tune? About how much power would i gain by putting this on?

Is this TB you have now a 3 bolt or 4? I dont think iy will work. Your want the 92 on there anyway. Dont buy it and install until you can afford the 92 TB. There are a few manufactors out there. FAST 92 I have heard fixed thier problem with the 90;s and the TB sticking. But it is pricey. I have the PTM 92mm TB and love it. The Nick Williams is also a great TB with zero issues I have heard of. Just save until you can afford to put the correct TB on it.
Do you NEED a tune after? No, you dont. But you wont see the full power out of it with out one. Thats up to you and your money.
HP gained? Over what? I assume the LS6? Probably with a 92/and 92 TB tuned... over the LS6.... 15 HP roughly. Do you have stock heads? That will play a major role in the HP gained when going to the FAST. IMO, if you have suspension to be done, you might reap better gains at the track and street putting the money towards the suspension if your not a ported headed car. Thats also up to you.

the one i have now is a three bolt throttle body. i am going to put the 92 on there just was wondering if the 85 will work until then. i do have stock heads for now. they are getting changed this winter. i have UMI torque arm, LCAs, and PHB. i was going to get nittos and the FAST and sell the LS6 and 85mm throttle body and get the 92mm throttle body.

There is nothing wrong with the fast 92mm tb, i have had mine on for months and never had a single issue. They completely redesigned it after some of the 90s stuck.

thats what i heard. i was just wondering if it was a 3 bolt hook up or 4 bolt hook up. some of the pictures of the tb and intake online show differences.
i dont know when ill end up getting it. if not this summer definitly in winter. waiting to see what is going on with getting my money back for a set of rockers.
