    need some feedback on what cam I should go with for my firebird

    this should be posted in the internal engine section, but don't worry it will be moved there soon.

    Cam for a street car, or strip car.
    For the street i recommend a 224/224 lsa 114 or a 228/228 lsa 114 or 112 on either if its a manual

    Well i love the tps 228r cam, i wouldn't go much bigger than that for street use(torquer V1) and the 224 is also a popular street cam. Check out my sig, i'm making good power with bolt-ons and the 228r lsa 114

    i will go with comp cam part number #54-444-11 its a good strong cam for streat

    I like to go a little bigger!... I currently have a Torquer v.2 in my GTO.... I think it is a great street cam! Still has a strong bottom end! And pulls like a mother when you get into the throttle!....
