cam swap questions

i plan on doing a cam swap in a few months, im not gonna be able to do heads with it because its not in the budget right now, my question is, when only doing a cam swap, what other valvetrain components need to be upgraded with it??

Pushrods and valve springs..? I think thats all..

since you are going through the trouble might as well get a ls2 timing chain and a ls6 ported oil pump. about another $180 for the 2 and a huge piece of mind. + you'll be right there anyway.

i had planned on the double roller timing chain, but the oil pump can be done as well...also gonna be doin an underdrive pulley

just do an LS2 chain. $40 and will do just fine. I would also do an underdrive pulley since your old one will be off anyhow. It all starts adding up huh?

Pushrods $80
timming chain (LS2 is $35, double roller $150)
Springs
retainers if dual springs
Gaskets.
Oil pump is optional, but I would do it.
Great time to do the underdrive pully.
