    2000 Pontiac WS6 Trans Am

    cam swap

    Ok so i have a 2000 ws6 with a th400 w/ 3800 stall , rmvb , trans brake , full spool w/ 373's , pacesetter lt's true duals into dynomax bullets dumped, stock 241 heads and inatke too , ported maf and tb, stock internals , looking for a cam that is gonna put me into the low 11's maybe high 10's and than i want t shoot a 1500 shot ...i dont wanta big ass cam with no trq i want one thats going to have great trq and great under th curve and crazy midrange power too

    Maybe a 228/228 .588/.588 or even a 234/234 .608 on a 114 lobe seperation. Should make good mid to high end power.

    have you looked into the Texas-Speed Torquer V2.....makes good power for what your looking for

    just a question though. why would you put a th400 and a transbrake in a bolt on car? i can understand doing it after HCI swap but before? idk seems like a waste of money to me IMO

    Prolly to get it ready for more power. Kinda wish I had built my car from the back to front because I am nursing a noisy rear and my 3-4 clutches change like butter....

    its funny because everyone always say that they wish they built it from back to front.. but it is always after the fact...power and speed are too big of a temptation most of the time

    Making power before building the drivetrain/suspension is ass backwards. I laugh at head and cam cars that go low 12s/high 11s. Now a bolt on car that gos low 12s/high 11s is
