cam questions

Hey guys, Im a noob to cams, so please take it easy on me.

My buddy is giving me a really good deal on this cam set-up and i plan on buying it from him. it is still brand new and never been used.

224/230 581/588 114lsa its a comp cam with the xe-r lobes.

How will this cam run in my bolt-on ls1? will it be good for "cam only?" how much power should i expect to make from this? (currently at 356hp with bolt ons)

looking for good peak power, with great mid range.

BTW car is m6 with pretty much all the basic bolt ons.

what can i expect from this cam?

can't give you a number, but you will definately beable to feel the new added power!

dont forget a timing set, better oil pump, pushrods and valve springs
