cam question??

Is that just for labor? Goin rate around here is $600 for the labor. Cam+valve springs.

When I did the install in my own garage, total of parts was just over $1000.

Labor shouldn't be that much. $600 is much closer.

in ny york everything is a ripoff but $600 sounds good. well this shop by me is well known they do great work and build sick cars. so i guess i have no choice. also parts were $1400 cam. 1.85 rockers, titaium retainers, 918 springs. good parts??? comp everything

Price on parts is a bit high, I got z06 cam, Ti retainers, 918 springs, hardened pushrods et all for 750 shipped. Guess it depends on which rockers but 650 for a set is a bit much, just my 02.

why are you getting 1.85 rockers?

juiced99ws6, my friend who is doing the work did the same setup in a 01ss and it made 421 hp on the dyno. with full bolt ons and a 6spd.

he did not tell me the specs but i will find out. what cam will give me power from lets say 1800- 6500 and have a 112 lsa??? i like the coppy idle but don't need all my power up top. i do know the cam is from comp.
