    cam question

    I don't know to much about cams are far as specs go, But i was wondering what would be the best cam to put in my 02 m6. It is pretty much stock But i dont want anything to erratic i want it to be reliable and a good daily driver but let everyone know that it packs a serious punch

    224 or 228 are great for mid range power and maintaining good daily driveability.

    sorry i dont know a lot about specs. is that the lift, who makes a cam like that?

    Thats the duration. You probably want a lift in the .580 range and LSA of 114 or 112. The 224 or 228 cams are very common, most vendors will have it.

    go with a 220 or 224 but on a 114 it wont be as lumpy and just as quick

    this is the cam I'm running now on a 112lsa, next year I might jump up to a 228, but I like the powerband of this one.....plus its only $115 if your on a budget!

    GM Hot Cam IMO allows you to run for awhile with out having to tune it right away
