silver- 2000 WS6 Ram Air Trans Am
cam opinions
whats up, just need some opinions. i just got a stock 2000 WS6 trans am and i want to put a cam in it. does anyone have any recommendations on what brand, what size, and other suggestions about whats good to do along with a cam? thanks, all opinions are accepted

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
you need headers and exhaust before a cam.
when doing the cam, get a whole cam kit with springs.
also it would be a good idea to put in a ls2 timing chain.
as for which cam, it depends on what youre goals are with the car.

And if you have an ls1 engine, then get ls6 heads, because, the ls1 heads does not flow well.
Comp cams has some nice ones, A mild performer with fair economy is a xer273hr, wich has 224/230 and 114 lsa. very smooth.
When changing a cam or other major parts, then always get a tune up.
