they're actually called craptacular.
Nice numbers, did you do the install or have a shop do it? What's your idle like with that cam?

Thats with headers im assuming right. Is that cam in the Xtreme RPM lineup from comp? Those numbers are pretty healthy!
-

it was on a dynojet. my mpg is around 25 w/ the part throttle fuel map.
yeah it was w/ headers not sure on the xtreme lineup but it shines from 4-7k.

great numbers dominic----my names dominic also-----wtf--i also just installed a cam-but the ms3--and am looking to get a fast 90/90 before i retune it......im looking for 440 rwhp with every bolt on known to mans ls1 with stock heads-then a 150 shot wet..HOW MUCH DID THE LS7 LIFTERS COST AND WHAT WERE THE BENEFITS OVER THE STOCK LS1 LIFTERS
-
08-23-2006, 08:29 PM #15
ls7 lifters are better for high rpm motors.
440 is pushing it unless you want like 370tq. what heads do you have? the fast 90/90 will hurt your numbers, the ls6 will be plenty fine. and theres no sense in spending $800 when you dont need to.
jmho.

ive been thinking the same thing.i am running the stock ls1 heads.and i have been eyeing the stage 3 ls6 heads from TSP. Why wouldnt it gain numbers with 90/90.
-
08-25-2006, 11:54 AM #18
cause the 90/90 is for FI cars. i wouldnt bother w/ it even w/ just n2o.
on n/a cars were not pulling or pushing enough air to warrent the 90/90 combo.
my buddy dropped hp and tq after going w/ that. before the 90/90 he was 447rwhp w/ only 7 cylinders. and then after he lost a shit load of tq and was only pulling 1.7 60's w/ a fully built tranny, rear, and sus.
im just trying to save you money. and put it towards something eles.
