well yes, ls1 heads flow good... better then some aftermarket heads for gen 1-2 heads do.... so with a simple cam tune and bolt ones ur looking at a lot of power

An aftermarket cam can add up to 60hp to the wheels, it's a big deal.

Ahhhh I need #'s for my setup so badly, but check my sig. Lots of guys using this cam with stock 241 heads and making 400ish hp 400ish tq to the wheels with varying transmission and rear setups. I dont DD my car but I drive it almost every day and I personally dont have any complaints about driveability even on a 111 lsa. It can be cranky before it warms up, but other than that it's not too bad.........

You can make lots of power cam only. The cam I use in M6 cars typically pics up about 60-80rwhp w/ a tune.

My 2000 NBM WS6 M6 made 388 rwhp with relatively mild cam, a futral F11 cam 228/230 on a 112 LSA. My current 2002 WS6 makes 391 rwhp cam only.
