    cam install cost?

how much does an average cam install cost? Maybe this is the wrong section to ask, but does anyone know of a place around boston that does decent fbody work (i.e. a place that will install a cam). Most places around me know jack about internal engine work...

It depends on the labor rate. I am betting it would be at least $600 though....probably more.

Saves a good chunk of money to do it yourself. Not really that bad of an install if you take your time and be careful.
