    cam instal

    Hello everyone I have been trolling through cam instal posts but cant find the answer to my question. When you upgrade your cam are you changing your cam bearings as well?

    No, only time I replace mine, would be on a complete rebuild.

    The cam install is semi easy, but, the timing chain upgrade can be nasty, because of the oil pump pick-up tube...

    and dont forget the pickup tube bolt! lol (i have dropped the bolt down into the oil pan sump...then dropped the wrench in to the sump

    What are you trying to build it do? Are you building a DD thats also a weekend warrior? Or only a mild street car? Race Only? Autocross AND 1/4? My 3 PERSONAL favorite cams are the TRex, MS4, and Tsunami cams
