    Cam Help

I have a question on what camshaft I may need to go with. Apparently the cam options are pretty open with the LS engines. Im working with a LS2 bored and stroked to 408. Im looking for max numbers without spray and blower. Just want an all engine build. Im looking at a 11.27-1 CR. Im unsure what cam is going to be best for this setup. I know more info is needed so just ask me what needs to be known and Ill provide what info I have. This is a Street/ Strip car so a cam that keeps it street drivable is a good thing. It is NOT a daily driver so it can be on the edge of streetable as well. Thanks ahead for your help!

I was running a Trickflow 238/242 .595/.595 112 lsa in none and it was very tame.... I just dropped in a comp 255/263 .624/.624 115 lsa, but haven't gotten the motor all back together yet to test fire it. This is in an a4 with a 4,000 stall

dont be afraidof going with a larger cam, the extra 60 cubic inched really eats up the duration and tamed it down

Yeah that's something I was concerned about was over camming the engine but I don't think I'm gonna get that big with it. I was thinking of one of the comp cams rapid ramp style cams.

The ms4 would be very streetable in a 408, it felt like a 228 cam in a 346

I don't mind if it pushes the edge of streetable, just don't want something that can't be driven on the street you know? I wanna push the engine as much as can be with a street/strip setup. I'm shooting for 650 whp. More is always a plus but that's my goal

Texas Giant, Tsunami, Polluter or TRex V.2 for Max numbers...although you're best bet is always gonna be a custom grind.

I wouldn't look for an off the shelf grind. Get something spec'd out for what you want to do and for your combo.
