cam and heads?
I really cant afford to do the heads and cam togather. can you just do cam then later heads or do you have to do them togather?

You can do either or but make sure if you get one and plan on getting the other later make sure they will work well together. Dont just go big go with a good combo for what you want out of your car.

What you have to consider is you will definitly pick up more from the cam but you still have to upgrade springs/pushrods in the heads if you do the cam first..... So it saves on labor to do it all at once. Putting springs on a car with the heads on is tough on # 7 & 8. TR and Crane (outta business) makes a nice tool so you can change I/E at once.
If all you want is 11's full bolt-ons and cam can put you there.....

cam only is imp way better then the heads alown... if u have the right grind ull have more fun and see better gains from a cam then heads alown...
