    Cam Choice?

I am looking at 4 Cams, all the same cost. I am completely cam ingorant so maybe someone can tell me what the best bang for the buck would be out of these 4? Basically I am looking for a very streetable driver. I don't plan on going much over 400-450rwhp, once all my other mods are done.

Where do you want your power band? Do you plan on heads? Have you considered a package/combination that is known to make power and then only picking up the cam now? How much advance in the cames you have picked?

im guessing its not tuned or not tuned right.
the 228 cam makes close to 400 rwhp and your pumping only 360.

None of those cams will get you to 400rwhp without heads. I had the 224/112 cam, made 372rwhp on a dynojet. I got bored with that one.

See, I told you all I was cam ignorant!
It sounds like if I go with WS6ICK's set up, I will be right in the rwhp range I am looking for. Thanks for all your suggestions.

I'm an A4 though, so that same set up might get me to 370ish, maybe a touch more.

Ya if you want to spend another $1300-$2200 for heads. Or you could just get a bigger cam and make the same power cam only.

    Thats a double sided answer.

Sure you could get a different cam, meaning a much larger cam. Then have your peak numbers be great on a dino, lose your streetabilty, and not make power till late 3 grand.

    ^^^^lol. True!

You could still get any cam listed above and probably make ~400. I made 410 with PP stage 2 heads and the 224 cam through the stock rear while wearing ET streets. I'm make a lot more now with this cam (in sig) and the same heads. I've also seen cam's much larger than mine that people dd. It can happen...just depends on the tune.
