    Cam Advice

    I Have a 1991 pontiac firebird V8 305, i am currently rebuilding the car due to the car accident she was in. Im Putting in a new dynomax exaust system, ram air, and im currently lookin at a posi rear from a guy i forgot the gear ratio, but i am wondering what type of cam i can put in her, and have some fun before i blow her up and move to a bigger motor.

    is this a 305TPI, or 305 TBI motor?

    is it auto, or manual?

    something in the 210 to 224 range would do nicely.

    Why bother. I had a 91 RS 305 tbi, that car wouldn't get out of it's own way. I doubt a cam swap will help much. Prolly have better luck over at thirdgen.org as this is an LS1 based site.
