How will changing from stock to a mild DD cam effect the emissions. Will i still pass smog?

I too have to deal with californias stringent emission laws..I have plans on bolting on some ported LS6 heads with maybe a 222/222 or 224/224 cams..whats the largest cam you guys put on and still pass smog in Cali?

^^ i would also like to know. i have a hot cam. not much up from stock lift and i passed.

Curious, what are your cam specs?

I have always heard on this and other forums 224/224 was the biggest you could go and still pass in CA.. IDK for sure because I live on the other coast and they just plug in to ODBII and look for emissions codes here. The tune will probably make you or break you.
