Broke a valve spring...
Fortunately I didn't do any damage to my bottom end and only slight damage to one valve. The machine shop doing the valve job/head repair is also putting in nitrided double coil springs with titanium guides and locks. I am having them line bore the block and put new bearings, rings,
Mahl pistons and forged I Beams in also. They will also balance and blueprint the engine for me.
This machine shop happens to build all the LSx engines for Mosler, so I am in really good hands. Hope to have all this done by next friday.Last edited by SOMSS; 05-08-2011 at 10:08 PM.
