Bored Cylinders?
Ok, i've heard about this on here for a while, but what exactly does it do? for the car? HP? thanks alot!

Boring the cylinders has the common misconception that it give you more HP. while it may give you a few boring of the cylinders main advantage is getting the cylinders as round and straight as possible, determining how well your rings will seal. also it doesnt give you that many more CI. EXP- 454 bored .030 will give you about 460 CI.

Exactly??? Boring simply increases engine displacement. Everything else about your question (HP, performance) involves too many variables.

But it doesnt just "simply" increase displacement. One of the main purpose's of boring is for perfect or next to perfect ring seal. But yes ZEDTWOEIGHT is right it does increase displacement
