It has 190k on it but im going to freshin it up alittle bit new rods and diamond pistons bearings and of course gaskets. Im also looking for some parts heres a list if anyone has these and is whiling to sell them please email me.

    1# ls1 or ls6 intake

the heads have are a 317 casting

after tear down i fond this engine was in good shape. no ridges on the cylender walls. alittle carbon on the pistons and some burnt oil in the knock scencor valley. nothing abnormal. all rod bearings where clean no copper showing. the same with the mains.

Well guys thing are going to go slow for a while. My 2 1/2 year old son was suppost to go in for some minor surgery and they found abnormal blood levels. there thinking leukemia is a posability but are hopeing for something else. i have reaseved some stuff back from the machine shop. and fortunatly my machine shop is ordering parts and letting me pay them off in payments to help complete the motor. this build will be completed just not as fast as hoped.

OK guys my sons is in good shape now. blood work is good and its a go for surgery.

On the other hand i just had a friend give me a holset H2E turbo the hot side looks like a monster but the compressor is 62mm inducer.

now question is i want this truck to pull and come on like a frieght train at full boost. iv had some guys tell me to go with a 1.0A/R. now im only planning on spinning this motor up to 7200rpms mybe 7500. Now my understanding is the larger the A/R the longer it take to spool and the softer it comes on. is there and turbo guys running around here that can help me pick a turbo. im thinking of either a MP t76 Q trim with a .96 A/R or a magnum ball bearing T-76 with a .96A/R P trim. I would be very greatful for any help. heres the planned engine that is still getting parts orderd for.

    LQ4 block
    arp head studs
    arp main studs
    4.010 9.0:1 diamond pistons
    4.00 callies crank
    6.125 K1 rods
    Un-ported 317 heads
    log style ex. manifolds
custom ground cam from loyde elliott.( not sure of specs yet)
I found room to mount this turbo up front and it will be intercooled
I hope i didnt leave anything out.

well last night i sold the 4l60E and came up with some more money. and have desided to purchase t a good used crank or a new one. If anyone has a good after market crank for sale please give me a holler, i may be interested.

Also i have the old crank for sale if anyone is interested. It was in perfect condition when pulled out. it has been X-rays for cracks. all journals polished. and cleaned up. im guessing $200 would be fine. after looking around, everyone seems to be selling them for $50 more. you pay shipping.im also up for trades that will help me with my build.

    big change in plans

well im going to go a differant direction with this. the turbo ls1 S-10 isn't going to happen now. i have a 85 chevy camaro that i have had set off to the side. and i have desided to go that rout but with twin 76mm turbos. theres just more room to do it the right way. and the car is lighter. let me know if you guys think i should continue with the build on this thread.
