    Blow-by on 1999 trans am

So if I take out my oil dipstick and give it some gas, some smoke comes out of the dipstick tube. Could this be anything besides piston blow-by? Is there any way to fix it besides honing the sleeves and changing the rings? I wouldn't see how anything valvetrainwise could be related. Also if it is somewhat mild should I even be concerned? The car still makes great power-will this get much worse quickly?

Is it actually smoke or is it steam?? If the motor is warmed up, some steam is normal, the crankcase is hot.

You will also get some smoke as well, its just contaminants (moisture, carbon) burning off as the engine heats up. As long as its not severe amounts of steam/smoke, it shouldn't be anything to worry about.
