    Billet Main Caps

Are the Katech Billet Mains worth the price? I am building a 500rwhp ls6 and was wondering for my application if they would be worth the price? I plan on doing lots of RR and some drag racing.

The stock bottom end of an LS6 is plenty strong and will support 500hp. It's your money and a little extra insurance never hurts. I say go ahead and spend the extra dollars, why not since it's your money.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I am just trying to figure out if it is worth spend $400 on those. I may get all the other parts and see what it adds up to and if I have anything left over with my budget I will then buy them.

You'll be fine with stock mains, but I would get ARP hardware for both the rod bolts and main bolts.
