    best torque cam

    i have a 2000 ls1 241 heads.plan on using 13/4 lt and a ls6 intake ,and dyno tune it .whats the best torque cam for this combo?

    comp has newer LSR lobes, high lift with short duration. They are ment for torque. I actually am installing mine tomorrow

    I do like the specs though. Can't wait to see a dyno graph.

    i wont have any dyno graphs but my car is back up and running and runs great! amazing power throughout now if i can just get some better tires.

    heyy all im puttin a 224 comp cam in my ls1 5.7L id like to know wat the idle will be like? thats all the numbers he gave me and said that its a good cam?

    Wow sounds mean! When I went with a buddy to get his car tuned the shop owner was singing his praises about the LSR lobed cams. The only thing is, wont the high lift and quick ramp rate affect overall spring life? Like instead of having to change them every 15k you'll have to change them every 8-10 or something? Sound mean as hell man, cant wait to see #'s

    Torque at what rpm? Big torque does not mean low rpm or hp.

    stock rod bolts don't want to spin it much past 6200 rpm. looking for a 3000 or less stall, have 3.23 gears

    Reverse split cams 224/220, 227/224 and the el torro cam. Basically make the same power if the duration in/ex were switched but the torque comes in earlier.

    I am not sure on how often i am going to change but i spent the money ($600) and bought the dual comp 26921 dual springs
