Best Stall/Gears for MS3?
I need to know what Stall/Gears work best for the MS3?
It'll be a weekend driver (high way n around town) and I'm days away from placing my order with TSP. I've always like the feel of 3.73s and I'm trynna perserve low end torque, so lemme know guys!

No need to worry about low end torque with a stall... I would say 373s are perfect and youll probably want atleast a 3600-4000rpm one.

i was planning to just keep my stock 3.42s when i did heads(5.3) and cam (ms4) and 4000 stall. Would it be really shitty to drive with those gears? its not a DD
im still planning on going 12 bolt however i wasnt going to do it right off. didnt wanna waste the mony on the stock rear

Stock A4 gears are 3.23's. The 3.42's are for the M6. If your planning on a 12 bolt then I wouldn't worry about throwing money at the 10 bolt.

I have a 98 Trans Am non-WS6, mine came with 3.23's which in 2 weeks will be replaced with 3.73's.
Don't waste money on the 10 bolt with anything more than bolt ons. I've already destroyed the rear once in this car. I'm just keeping it in till I do the 6sp swap and then I'll do the 9".1998 Trans Am 85k miles.
Bolt ons, MS3 113LSA cam, Circle D Stall, Tune, Modified WS6 style hood, Full Suspension, 6000k HID's, Clear Side Markers w/ Leds, Led 3rd Brake Light and 18" AR Staggered Killer Wheels w/ BFG KDW NT's.- Weekend Toy/DD

I have a ms3 with a vig 3500 and 373s and it runs strong, but as some people will tell you the vig stalls seem to stall out higher than they are rated
