Ha - have the 205cc from AFR, but if you really think I'm gonna suggest what's on my "car" then I might as well spill it all:

AFR205cc with the combustion chambers milled down from 66cc down to 59cc with 5-angle valve job.

Good article supporting why I agree these are good heads:
    http://airflowresearch.com/articles/article114/A-P1.htm -

    Summary:
    Stock C5 did 278hp/297lbtq before and 323HP/340lbtq
Quarter mile (before): 13.54 (after) 12.9
    Put on Bassani tri-y (353 hp/363lbtq) - 12.5 1/4 mile
    Put in 220/224 .581/.581@115LSA comp cam - 389HP/365lbtq - 12.3 1/4 mile

    BTW - don't have the G5X1, but have G5X2 (232/240 .595/.608 @114 LSA)

My "car" is an extended cab P/U (weighing 4600lbs - almost a 1000 more than your car I would guess) and I'm putting whoopin's on Stage 2 SRT4s, 2004 Mustang GTs and 1999 Mustang Cobras. I set right beside the new 2006 Mustang GT until it hits 90+ (hey, come on, I'm a Extended Cab P/U, what do you expect - lol) and I have an automatic 4L60E transmission.....Its a daily driver.....think this is what you were looking at in your query.

Would I have done anything different? Not really....but I'm not done either - lol

I'm with sarge on this one. Are you looking for daily driven streetability. Do you want to eventually go FI or a big motor in the long term. Are you looking for something budget or is price not an issue at all. As far as cams, there are a lot of manufacturers out there. Check out Thunderracing.com, one of the sponsors here. They have a nice cam selection and will give you a run down and some with dynographs to tell you what each cam is capable of. G2 makes some great cams as well, but do some research. Also do you want 5.3L heads or 5.7 LS6 heads? CC size is important, if you are planning to run all motor, the 5.3's flow great and will give you some nice power. The larger CC chambers are good for bigger stroker motors and or FI.

If you do a lit of daily driving and a lot of road racing, look for a cam with good high end and misrange power like a 224/224 .563/.563 on a 112 or 114 LSA. If you don't want a big lope and a smoother idle, look into the 114. Also a 224/227 .563/.569 114lsa will do some good with a stronger midrange. These cam specs are from ThunderRacing. Look up their cams and check out the specs and explanations to find something that fits you. They are a sponsor on this board, so give them a call as well and talk to one of them and let them know what you are looking for. They do custom grinds and can match to whatever you like. They can make you a nice NO2 cam as well so don't be afraid to mention that you'll be spraying as well.
