Best cam for stock heads Daily Driver
Whats the biggest i could go on lift/duration on a daily driver 98' A4......i was wondering if the Magic Stick would be too big?? Or not big enough??? Or a 230/230....612" lift w/ 113LSA... or the Magic Stick 3 with 237/242 Dur 603/609" Lift w/ 113LSA
Whitch would be more reasonable for a daily driver with a stall, LTs, lid, Intake (after the stall and LTs) ++TUNE

I have the TS 228R with 114 LSA, and it's certainly very streetable with my LT's, 3500 stall and 3.90s. I wish I went a tad more with the cam though, because now it's not my daily driver. Although I will say, tuning a nice idle was tough on the 228R, so bigger may be even tougher. For an A4 DD, I think most choose the 224 cam or 228.

I would say the tsp 228r would be your best choice with those mods.

If you are going to stick with stock heads I suggest you get a little more on the exhaust side then in intake. I am currently running a 226/228 .585/.588 lsa 112 and the car sees on average 1000 miles a month.

Either the 224 or 228 cam from tsp would work great.

Ill go out on a whim here and say that if your staying with stock heads, try a reverse split cam to help with the lack of flow. The bigger intake durations might help with that. Maybe MTI X1? That cam will make good power under the curve with the stock heads. Tried and proven.
