I have an 01 Camaro that was just rebuilt (honed, all new bearings, crank turned, new valve springs, seals, and cam). It was started for the 1st time on Friday. Ran fine all day Saturday and Sat. night. Went on a 25 mile hwy. cruise Sunday and it developed a knock from about 2,000 rpms on up. Nothing at idle. Oil pressure is still 40 psi @ idle and climbs near 70 in the upper rpm range. The noise seems to be coming from the front of the passenger side vavle cover or possibly under the intake. Noise is barely audible from underneath the car. Any thoughts on the culprit???
