AFR 225 heads !
someone selling AFR 225 heads. Im really interested in those but im not sure if it will work well for me. I heard 205's but this 225 is being sold at a great price. Should i pick it up ??? I have Fast 102/102, SLP lid package, LT ARH w/ catted y and magnaflow exhaust and plan on getting Torquer V2. This is a street car too ! This is what he posted with the heads: "These heads are AFR 225's 72cc worked by Cartek , heads are complete with 2.055/1.60 valves , inconel exhaust valves , bronze guides , 921 springs .
These are the same heads/cam that Mike Romain ran on my his big bore 388cid single turbo set up that ran 9.33 at 149, the heads are ideal for a 4.125/4.130 bore . I bought these, had new guides and a complete refersh (done by Bakers Cylinder Heads in Henderson NV - over a thosand dollars additional invested). I paid A LOT for these heads ...and as the story goes, my loss - your gain"

They are to much for a stock 347cc engine, unless you add a blower or turbo, I dont think they will perform well. You will have to "force feed it" I think.

what is the bore size on your engine?these heads are for 4" bore or bigger, that is why the chamber is so big.
