    6.0 lq4

would a 6.0 lq4 motor removed from a 06 gmc 2500hd pick up truck drop right into my T/A or what would I be looking at doing to get it to work?

intake would have to be changed...perhaps the engine mounts...other than that i think it would fit...the puter will need to be changed, and probably the harness too...to you have the 4l80 trans to go with it?

There is also this LS1 for sale in my area for 1.5k and said to have 45k miles on it, but there is no way for him to prove it. So not sure if I should risk it and just get the LS1 or what.....

Fitment isn't all that much fun though.

Motor will drop in. Can use your PCM, will need tune.
Intake needs replaced. Alternator needs moved (from truck location).

You would want to use the LS1 heads, intake, cam, etc....
