    6.0 Crank in a LS1?

We have been doing strokers in a lot of my dad's muscle cars but i was wondering if a 4 inch 6.0 crank would fit in the LS1... if my calc is right it should make the block a 382... doing the stock bored of a LS1 and the 4 inch stroke should make a nice stroker with half the cost if i can find one used right?

sTock 6.0 has the same stroke as 5.7 ls1, it just has bigger bores so actually using 6.0 crank would be the same you would need aftermarket crank has the 4 inch stroke you are thinking of.

I know it would be great if they were factory strokers! But gm is smart and carries over same crank which probably saves them lots of money which translates into affordability for us. Running bigger bores is much cheaper probably than making different crank for them. They have cheap stroker cranks on ebay but I dont know how strong they are.

i agree they cost only 200! Even if they were as strong as stock that would be way worth it cause stock crank is strong but they are probably weaker than stock for sure.
