    what about this http://www.texas-speed.com/SHOP/item...d=830&catid=82
Not with a Performabuilt and that tiny stall.

You want low 10's...you are looking at basicly a drag car that can drive on the street in my opinion.
Can you get N/A low 10's? Sure. But again, you are going to need more stall and more gear.

These heads usually like around 10* exhaust bias as a general rule. I would talk to some engine builders or run down Patrick G on tech and tell them your setup (stall, weight etc....).

+1 a 402 with good flowing heads will be a Reliable Daily Driver ( smoke anything from a Zo6 to a Zr1 the look on there face is priceless)and a Weekend Warrior will easly set you with awesome track times and then you can drive your Car home while the teams traliler there car home with a Comp Camp that is speced in your needs you can drive it on the streets and even pass smog at your local dmv. if u like forced induction good luck passing smog with over 8psi unless u like forking over lots or $

    Run about even with them.
Depending on the set-up, some are faster and some are slower.

Mine wouldn't pass smog...not even close.

Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

Burns very little oil. Typical amount from a basic LS1.
Cam is a 248/254. No way it passes smog.
No cats, no EGR, no AIR, etc...

So far in New Mexico I haven't been required to pass anything except a Driving test. So I'll Be good. What would you need to change To put an LQ9 based block or do I have more block options?

    Nothing.

Any LSx block will fit. They are all the same dimensions on the outside.

Depends on the block you choose.

But more than likely...yes. Many of the newer LSx blocks have different sensor locations.

So life isn't easy haha I Lost my T/A since before and I bought it back. I'm back to where I was with two kids now and a Wife.....and a hight 12 sec car. Tranny is broken now thanks to my cousins (previous owners) engine is leaking oil...***Sigh*** I think my goal this year is to get an engine I want what I asked for haha. Really I just think the new lsx 7.0 heads are cool and I think a 427 has more potential in an lsx block. No more kids popping out, great job, and my own house should = fast car. So new technology for lsx any new Ideas? Goal low 11's DD car with 25 hwy mpg.

why do you say that? Didn't Edelbrock make the E-Force ls7 supercharger. They have an off road one too. I don't see why not.
