    5.3 HEADS on LS1

    okay im looking into buying a set of stock 5.3 heads, i am going to be swapping a ls6 cam also,

    should i buy these heads for 150 bucks,

    will i make more power doing this if so how much or wil the smaller valves hurt me even thou compression will be going up???

    so long as they are completely stock, you'll be moving backwards. not only are the intake valves smaller, so are the runners. what you gain in compression will not make up for the loss of flow.
