damn.....can LS1's not hit 400 rwhp w/out forced induction/ nitrous or head work?? ...cause ive got alot of money invested in this thing....and said parts would really cost...plus i have jl audio system and around a grand in appearance mods....i coulda skipped corners on the susp. looks and hit big numbers w/ what i spent...but i wanted to build a complete car....not for racing just as my summer/weekend toy

I need the cam specs in order to give you an idea of power output.

Although, I never recommend having a dyno number goal. Set an ET goal...since those numbers can't lie. Dyno's can vary greatly from day to day even.

Can you hit 400RWHP with bolt-ons and a cam?? Certainly.
Should be more concerned with getting into the 11's though with a cam.

    +1

like curtis said, you want to shoot for et goal rather than a HP goal. With your gears and suspension upgrades you're heading in the right direction for improved et times. But lets face it, the only mods you have that add any real power is the FAST and the LTs. We would need the specs of that cam to get you a better idea of the power you will be making

400 RWHP is obtainable with out power adders for sure. Especially on a Dynojet. We made 415 with a customers car a few months ago on our Mustang dyno. Ours is stingy even for a Mustang. 2900 lb cars making 360 RWHP go 10.60'. The firebird that we did is a very durable street car.
    Mods we performed
    Heads
    MME custom cam
    Rocker system
    Intake
    Throttle Body
    Headers

Before tuning we made 387 RWHP
