383?
I got a 1999 camaro Ls6 intake Borla catback I got a quote today to bore
it out to a 383 for 2500$ Is that a good price, and am I going to have to spend more money on other things after it's done What are the pro's and con's of doing this and how much HP can I expect Your responses are appreciated

so they are going to resleeve it are they including pistons and rods? and balancing the crank or what? you gotta give us more info

What exactly does this 2500 include? You can't just punch an ls1 out to a 383. You'll need to provide a lot more info before anyone can tell you if it's a good deal or how much power you will be making.

they will be boring it out from 3.898 to 3.905 and they will be putting a 4.00" stroke crank in. should also have to notch the block to clear the crank and rod throws. 2500 isn't bad for that.
