are the 317 heads found on an iron block 6.0 any good? i can get the whole engine for cheap is it worth it. would it be a good platform for a stroker build? does anyone know the stats on the heads?

Good platform for a stroker. Is it LQ4 or LQ9 block. Doesnt really matter if you are planning on immediately to rip the internals out and put a 4in stroker in there.
If not, LQ4 has dished pistons with a lower compression ratio around 9.4 or 5
LQ9 has flat top pistons and has a compression ratio of around 10.4 I believe. If you are turning it to a stroker, then you are probably planning on getting new heads anyway right?
