    241 heads?

    I was on craigslist found 241 heads for $150. Are they any better than what is stock for my 98 ws6? Can they be built it at all? Let me know asap ill buy them if they can help.build some HP
    1998 Trans am Ws6, T56 : SLP Lid, K&N Air Filter, Smooth Bellows, Granatelli air foil, LS6 Intake, SLP Harmonic Balancer pulley, QTP 1 3/4" headers and Y-pipe, LS7 Clutch & flywheel, Hurst Billet Pro shifter,Tick Master Cylinder, UMI LCA relocation kit, UMI LCA, UMI Panhard Bar, Tuned by Frost

    241 is the stock casting, Only way you will see HP gains is to get them ported. What you want would be 243 casting which is the heads off an LS6.

    Some info I found. Also there's a sticky on ls1tech with all the specs. You have a 98? Means you'll have to swap to center bolt valve covers and the coils to match

    Yup,so unless you have some cheap truck coils lined up save for some 243's.
