    228R or V.2 and stall

i have narrowed the cams down to either the tsp228r or the V2. what do you think will be better for a street driver. not everyday driver but alot though. it will be going on with a set of patriot stage 2 ls6 heads 59cc, roller rockers, and high stall converter. which brings me to, what size stall? What cam should i go with?

I have the 228 in mine with a 3500 stall and I'm pretty satisfied with it. It's a pretty streetable combo. It makes good power and I've been satisfied with it overall. If I had it to do over again I would put the exact same setup in the car. The difference between what you're looking for and what I have are heads. I have PRC stage 2.5 5.3L heads. I'm like you. I like to drive my car and put miles on it during the summer. I didn't want to fight with a moody cam so I went with the 228R. Great choice for what I wanted.

That is the route that i am leaning on right now but want to be certain on it before getting anything.
