    228R or mti r1

Alright so ive been researching h/c combos lately. I was pretty much decided on PRC 2.5 heads with a 228R 112lsa. But i got in contact with the guy i bough my ls6 intake from to ask about the heads he had. The heads are gone but he has a brand new, never used, mti r1 cam .232/.236 dur .575/.578 lift 114lsa and he said he'd let it go for 300 or so. He then told me he has a buddy who has some zo6 heads he'd let go for pretty cheap. If i got em i would have them ported.

Should i stick to my original plans or take this deal? Anyone around here runnin these cams that could help me would be great. Frost, if you read this, whats your experience with these cams?

None with either. They are quite different though, what is it you are looking for?

Im lookin for about 430 at the wheels. Do you think i would benefit from the zo6 heads at all? I think i may buy that cam but then im stuck between which heads to buy. Id just really like to see some dyno numbers from both cams, they're pretty different. He thinks with the z06 heads and the mti cam 430 440hp is very realistic. If thats true, could i see even more with PRC's?
