    228R cam build

well as many of you all know i purchased a cam and headers this past week and have been itching to install them so here ya go.

just starting to tear into her...

well we got that far and i figured that since im going to be wanting as much power as i can get out of that set up we decided to use a set of 243 heads that were on the shelf and go have them ported and polished. so heres with with the heads off

and where im at as of last night..

i do have the other head off just didnt get any pics cause it was late but more pics and vids to come for sure

your going to love the cam. I just got mine back on the road last week. 228R has a ton of low end power to it.

I used ARP head bolts when putting in my LS6 heads. I'd also make sure you get the updated LS6 head gaskets (3 layer steel) that graphite sucks ass to clean up... ask me how I know lol. If you already have this stuff then I will keep quiet lol.
