    224 cam + fast 90/90 =?

Full bolt ons, 224/227 .563 .569 114 cam, ls6 heads, and 2800(3400 on its way). 2000 camaro with 3.73 gears

I already have the ls6 intake but have saved up about $1000 for the camaro.

Will the fast 90/90 work well with my 224 cam? Shift points are set now at around 6300-6400rpm.

OR.........I was going to get the elec. water pump, which has been a claimed 5-10 hp.

Car has went 11.706 @117.22 with a 1.706 60'. Hoping the converter(3400) will drop .2 off with traction of course, but i also want to to a little something for power up stairs.

    It will gain a little.

With that cam and stock heads, the FAST won't gain you much. Not $1K worth of gains for sure.

I agree. LS6 intake will be fine. In fact its a little too much for my cam and I have a 230/232.

I dunno, it's hard thing to estimate.

I tuned an M6 car a little while back with headers, ORY, same 224 cam, Fast90/90 and a lid and it made 399.7rwhp on the nose (stupid 3-tenths ). I would expect about about 375-385 out of that setup (guess based on previous setups) if it had an LS6 intake. I wouldn't call this defining since I have only seen the exact setup once (and it wasn't an A4) but gives you an idea of what the intake is worth

    Oops!! I meant 373 hp, not 3.73.

Anyway, I am now looking at the tsp torque 2 cam. Looks like that would work well with my new 3400 stall vs my old 2800
