1998 ls1 beefup
just cirious on the 98 ls1 do you need lower studs to run nos or a blower i also herd that the oiling system in a 98 is no as goo as a 99 and on because they have a larger oil return above the cam can this be fixed to mach a 99 and later

no u dont have to lower the studs (whatever that means) 98's are the bastard childs of the bunch..i think the oiling system stayed the same until 01 when they went to the ls6 style. So if what your asking is, "should I change my oil pump?" then yes, it would be a good idea and add a catch can. Much cheaper than converting to the ls6 setup. Does that help?
