122k mi.....too late for cam swap?

The motor is stock and has been sprayed(125hp wet) on 15-20 times. I'm just wondering if I should wait and rebuild it and change the cam then.

I would just do it now and take it from there. It only takes a day at the most to install a cam anyway.

Have fun with it now. Once it blows it gives you an excuse to rebuild.

If you're oil pressure and cylinder compression is good, there's really no need not to. Go for it.

Thanks for the replies. My ideal cam is not that big anyway, so I'm thinking it won't be that much more stress on the engine. 210-220's duration and 560's lift 114 lsa

Go with a 224/224 grind with a 114-LSA (still pretty tame, so don't worry), you'll be glad that you did, believe me.

Anyone know of any other vendors that have cam, spring, and pushrod packages other than Texas Speed and Thunder Racing.
