01 WS6 with STS kit, what heads and cam

I have an 01 WS6 and my STS kit is on the way, I was thinking about building the top end. I will be daily driving the car and will have it tuned for 7 to 8 psi. Anyone have any input on which head was looking at Patriot for the budget bang. Also what cam would work? Looking for decent power gains with good reliability. Also if I do heads is there a company that has a package kit I can get all at once..

    Thanks

I believe that Texas Speed has a package with heads and cam. I'd go with the stage 2 or stage 2.5 since you have a turbo. I think you can get a package with the stage 2 or 2.5 heads and a Magic Stick 4 cam for your turbo setup. I know the stage 1 heads and Magic Stick 4 cam will make an additional 125+ hp on a bolt-on LS1, so the stage 2 or 2.5 will give you some serious power with that turbo.

adding another 70+ rwhp might not be a good idea then.

Oh, well, then, no way is your stock rear going to hold up to all that power. You may want to beef it up, don't even know if that will work, or invest in a Moser rear. I'm surprised your bottom end is still kicking with a turbo. Some can't even stand up to the stock hp.
