    Canon Rebel 300D with a Sigma 17-70 lens.

    Would you believe me if I told you the paint hasn't been touched (aside from washing) in 4 1/2 months?

    Over 5 megapixels is almost a waste, unless you are printing larger photos.

    The SLR (and the really sharp lens) are what make the difference.
