Sunset pics
ok so I am by no means a good photographer...i do pretty good with stuff up close, like food, but never been good with my car.
anyway, the sunset looked cool today from my new apt. about halfway through i thought hey, i just washed the car. There's an empty lot behind behind a building right by my complex. its the back of the building where theres loading docks.
anyway,,hauled ass over there, snapped some shots, want some opinions.
these where dont with a Canon Elph SD450. 5 megapixel. i forgot my tripod, and was kinda shaky for some reason. so remember, i took about 30 pics in 5 mins. no tripid, lenses, lights, nothin...just hand held real quick, so dont bash me.
i though all these pics where either too bright, or too dark. first time, oh well.
the only one i really like
my car looks too high in this one...but i promise its not...its cuz the camera is tilted up.

Looks good!!!
Been meaning to try to get to a certain location when the sun is setting here. Just haven't had the time or the right circumstance.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
Shooting into the sun is VERY difficult. If you have photoshop-i suggest you shoot one photo getting the background in perfect exposure, then do another shot with the foreground in good exposure, then blend them. (you'll need a tripod or stack of books to ensure they overlap perfectly).
Another thing you can do is shoot with the sun setting to the far right or left and the car is angled in the opposite direction, that way the sun is lighting the side of the car facing: you.
