Mine doesn't ever go into complete hibernation. Denver has 60 degree days in January, so I take it out once in a while to 'stretch the legs' a little.
I agree. Its in a state of readiness whenever its nice outside. But spends most of its life in the garage under a cover during all months. Only sees about 3300 miles a year

I use the stock SS camaro cover that SLP supplies. Bought it brand new off ebay for $50 never used still in the plastic. Works fine for me and fits great. Nice and snug. It would be a good outdoor cover as well because it fits so snugly and the elastic is great.

I hear the California covers are the best on the market but cost a lot.

I have the same SLP cover too for my f'hawk and since May 07 I have uncovered my car each weekend once or twice each weekend and I am starting to see swirl makes from the cover coming off on the hood and rear spoiler areas. Of course, other than a spray quick detailer I have not put a hand wax job on her so that may help, but my car sits under a carport so I may be going to a softer cloth cover soon too.
I drove my car today and we only get about 3 weeks of real winter here so its driven almost every weekend pending rainey weather or hurricanes, love my vert! I feel sorry for you guys up north!

I don't use a cover. I use wax. Dust cleans right off.

Took the bird out today quick.

I am having second thoughts about covering mine. I mean it sits in the garage. Mine is Black so it will show everything as far as swirls/scratches.

If by "put the car away" you mean put winter wheels/tires on it, then yes I have.

When you put them away for 4 or 5 months, You really enjoy getting them out later. You forgot how much you enjoyed driving them.

    Just snapped these....

Beautiful day in the Denver area today. Things are changing soon though. Snow for Thanksgiving.
Going to be giving Z06-Goose's Corvette a quick detail this afternoon. Well...helping him as much as I can with Sara being home.
